Caroline sings a version (with a glorious tune) that was collected in Tennessee. The text is close to this one, Jeri, but not so long. We'll have to swap versions next time we get together, and compare them both to the one sung by Carrie Grover in Maine, and Jeannie Robertson's version, recorded in Aberdeen, Scotland!
