I don't know what you are looking for in a guitar. Price and quality do not always go hand-in-hand. The general concensus is you get your money's worth with Seagull.

Finally, play the guitar you are thinking about buying. Take a buddy along and have him or her play it some (so you can listen out front). There is variablity within models for all brands, more in some than in others. I say, buy what you like and you can afford.
