Any Mudcatters living in western Connecticut might be interested in a song titled "The Housatonic Valley" that is sung to the tune of the Civil War classic: "The Vacant Chair." I found it in Carl Carmer's book: Songs of the Rivers of America. Real sloppy, sentimental stuff. I'm almost embarrassed to sing it in public! Sandy
