Will, The Folklore Society of Greater Washington (FSGW,) as one of it's activities, has a weekend retreat in October. The core activity is singing. The next most essential activity is talking. For many, sleep is a distraction on this weekend. They have been holding for almost 40 years. You need not be a member of FSWG to attend. A large number of posters on the Mudcat are FSGW members. Another bunch have become regular attendees at this annual event. It is often the highlight of my musical year. Roger in Baltimore
