When Caroline and I sang this past summer in the festival at Schroon Lake, a youngish woman talked with us of having had Vaughn for a teacher at Niskayuna High School. She told us she had named her daughter Vaughn, because she had loved both the teacher and the name, although she had never told Vaughn that she had done so. So, George, if you're reading this, convey the news of her unknown namesake to your lovely wife. Sandy
