"ELSIE`S", The Queens Arms, Cowden Pound, Kent. TN8 5NP, Sat., Dec., 15th, from 8.00pm`ish. THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS MUMMING, CAROLS AND FROLICS EVENING. Featuring "Elsie`s Band", Kevin Henty, Will Duke, John Morgan, Dave Andrews and Tony Gowan who will perform the traditional tale of St.George fighting off the Turkish knight, Mawgor the dragon and Beelzeebub to save the Queen of Egypts` daughter. Star visitors are expected as well as Jim ward and his rib-tickling monologues, Marylin Bennett singing wonderfully with Iris, Brian, Terry, Jan and more. Everyone welcome to sing, play or just enjoy (as they say in restaurants). Free sausage rolls and "Larkins Best" all the way. See you there!!.
