I'd be happy if someone out there has ever met, sung with, or known a fellow about my age (70) who played guitar and sang informally in Seattle about 48 years ago. His name was Warren Povey. He graduated from Dartmouth, then came to Seattle to study playwriting at the U. of Washington. We swapped a lot of songs back then in the inexpensive student apartments near the campus, although I was never a student. (I snuck in as a reader for blind students.)
