I did mention having three versions of "Baby, Please Don't Go." I didn't intentionally collect them, they just came along with other songs on other records. Personally, I like the "field holler" version just fine and I sing it to myself with some regularity. Don't think I ever performed it. I once heard or read that Pete Seeger "collected" versions of the tune for "Twinkle, twinkle little star." It seemed that many tunes are simple variations of tempo for this song. Roger in Baltimore
