Marc, Point of order please. Guy Clark did not write this song and he'll tell you in concert that he is mighty jealous of those who did. It was written by his wife Susannah Clark and a friend named Richard Leigh. Guy claims they spent all of about 20 minutes on the sucker. Kathy Mattea ensconced this one in the Country and Western hall of reknown. Roger in Baltimore
