Matthew: Sounds as though you had a great weekend, despite missing all the Mudcatters. Now check out the Old Songs thread, where Jeri has included a "blue clicky thing" to lead you to their web site. More traditional music than Falcon Ridge (which takes place only about 25 miles from where we live), dancing is almost continuous at Old Songs, too. Site is a fair ground, but the main stage is in a pleasant, shaded spot and workshops take place in a variety of protected locations (old Dutch Barn, a large sheep barn (appropriate for the great gospel sings), etc. Food options are excellent, booths offera fine array of crafts, and there'll be a pile of Mudcats enjoying it all.
