Bob, I think you misread the acoustic guitar market (different than the folk market). People are paying ridiculous (to me) prices for some pretty basic guitars. Take a look at the "signature models" of some guitars that are endorsed by someone and are supposedly just like the guitar "so and so" used! None of it makes the guitar play any better, but it increases the value as a "collectible" and unfortunately (I think) guitars have become collectibles. Big RiB
