When we lived in Vermont, just up the village road from us there lived an elderly (75? doesn't seem so elderly to me now) retired farmer and his equally elderly wife. They thought they might take advantage of the passing tourist traffic and put up a crudely hand-lettered sign: "ANTICS." I tried to visualize them in the midst of such, but failed. Sandy
