Daniel,

We don't have the advantage. If you read the threads that Jeri kindly suggested somewhere in these "hair shirt" threads, you will learn about many of us.

I have been here about 17 months. I'm a regular whether anyone mentions me in a thread or not. The many questions you have just answered have been answered by others on the threads Jeri mentioned.

It seems you would like to get to know us and those threads are a good place to start.

We have been through a lot together, so we have some history. Some folks have even gotten quite nasty at times with each other. To get a hint of how powerful feelings get, read the My Little Armalite thread.

We are often moved to laughter, but we have also been moved to tears. You know, you will only be outside of the circle here by stepping outside. I like some folks better than others, but they all feel like family (I like some of my family members better than others, too). That means I value and respect them even when they "step out of bounds" to my way of thinking. If they get too far out, I will post or write a personal message. I do this because I value what it here and I want it to continue.

I ain't runnin' this show, but I have a part and I'm responsible for what that part contributes to the whole. If no parts are contributed then we will have a "hole", not a whole.

So keep pitchin' in, you will find your place. Just hope it isn't inbetween Catspaw and LEJ.

Big RiB
