Geez, I don't even drink the stuff and you guy's are making me thirsty.
Dave, When you talked about atmosphere it brought to mind The OLD ROSE AND CROWN. I don't long for the pubs of yesteryear, but like many a folkie I long for some of the way things used to be. There are times I wish I could go to the old general stores here in Carroll County where people knew your name and where you could catch up on the community news (and gossip). That doesn't happen at Super Fresh. So I sing this song for that reason (and 'splains it when I do).
We can do this one a cappella. The chorus is great. "Oh, what have they done with the old Rose and Crown; The Ship, The Kings Arms, and The World Upside down? For oak, brass, and leather, and a pint of the best Fade away like the sun as it sinks in the west."
