since Chinese and Indian entrepreneurs have taken over many local fish 'n' chip shops (including my own local one), the enhanced range of dishes on offer allows for much creative mixing. I remember being in the queue behind one eclectic soul who had a bag of chips, a saveloy, a pickled gherkin, a spring roll, all topped with curry sauce. I'm glad I wasn't behind him later...
