Saw something interesting yesterday in the back pages of the WSJ. It seems that Marty Stewart decided that "real country music" had a big audience that commercial radio and the music industry ignored. So, he put a road show together with merle Haggard, and they hit the road, playing in smaller towns, in smaller venues. He said it was like the old Acuff or Peewee King Road Shows of the fortys and fifties. very well received. They had to cancel part of the tour, due to weather problems, but he's gonna do it again real soon, with better planning.
