I am looking for recordings of "Hangman" ("Maid Freed from the Gallows")(Child 95)in any of its many variations. I have a "ton" of texts and some printed tunes. I may even have more recordings of it than I am aware of. A niece is a budding film maker in southern California. A colleague and her are finishing up a horror type movie and want a version of the song sung by yours truly to run with the closing credits. It's never too late to be in the movies. rich r
