Miss Manners understands your dilemma quite clearly. You cannot always influence the behavior of others, but is important that you NOT succumb to behavior that is beneath you - no matter how far (or directly) beneath you. No matter how appealing it looks. It will only cause you to behave in a manner that will get you hauled down to the pokey where these serious police people will..."blink".....were you talking to me? Excuse me... Why do you think all those great blind folk/blues singers went blind? At this stage in your education, I strongly recommend that you keep your eyes on your fingerboard.
