Alice, I couldn't agree more. One gets reactions (usually pleasant) if one even hums when one is in a shop. Does nobody else hum while shopping or checking out the videos? What I'm wondering though, is whether it's fairly common for people who enjoy folk to prefer something participatory, even if it's simply singing along with a CD to the mostly passive experience of most concerts.
