The thread on "Jones in Welsh" triggered something in me . Have you ever heard the way non-English speakers pronounce famous people's names ? Some examples from Spain: Honn Buy-ne ( John Wayne ) Clark E-Gab-li ( Clark Gable ) Say-an Connery ( Sean Connerry ) Paco Hones ( pronounced Pa -Cojones ) ( Tom Jones - they are being cheeky here because cojones are testicles )
