On the subject of Captain Matchbox - does anyone remember the film version of the play "Dimboola" (1979)? CM were the musicians who provided the music for the wedding. They started out doing some punk rock stuff, but soon found out what is required for country weddings. They ended up doing "The Sheik of Araby" in their own inimatable style, probably as homage to Chad Morgan who had an acting role in the film. There were also three young ladies in the film who sang two, terrific and very popular, Aussie songs of the 40's-50's? - We're Riding Through the Never-Never and I'm Going Back Again to Yarrawonga.
