I love it all. But for the time being I would like to stay near the 19C. When I asked about from what did the Uillean pipes evolve, I should have made it clear that I was looking for its mum and dad in 19 C Ireland or, as has been suggested, the USA. It has many, many distant relations, as do we all. 1 mother, 2 grandmothers, 4 greatgms, 8 Greatgreatgms, 16, 32 64...... Sorry I have jumped my own thread and will no doubt pay for it!
