Hi Anne, Thanks for that! Yes, it was the noise from an event in Queen's Gardens. Steve & I were discussing it with Maggie & Les on the Sunday night and I decided to raise the issue directly with the Council and also e-mail the Hull Daily Mail. I got a letter back from Hull Council yesterday, and will type the contents up later in a "BS" thread and put a link to it from here. Cheers, Julie
