Here on the Delmarva Pennsinsula, there's a lot of energy outside the door. Short duration power outages closed our office at noon. Hunkered down here in my house in the woods now. The wind is sometimes calm, and then goes through a howling period. The house sometimes vibrates at a real fast frequency during the gusts. The goldfinches can hang onto the feeder through anything!! Lost one big oak tree about an hour ago. I went out to see if it had hit the garage, (it didn't), when another gust came through and a second big oak falls. It misses me but the top of it hits the garage. I ran in the house feeling like a moving target. The brunt of the storm's not even here yet. I'm sure it's worse elsewhere. Lots of energy out there. Annie (with power so far)
