Joe Offer, Paul Simon Song Book was an solo album Paul made in London for CBS, around 1965, containing Sounds of Silence, I am a Rock, April Come She Will, Katy's Song and others that would appear on the next two S&G albums, plus a few that never saw the light of day again. It was recorded when Paul came to London after recordinng Wednesday morning 3AM. It was the money from this recording that he used to pay for Jackson C. Frank recording. For some reason, (?Paul's wish as with Tom & Jerry tracks), it has never been released on CD. I don't know if it was ever released in the USA on record. Britain also got a companion song book released about the same time with all the songs from this album on it. Both had a cover of Paul and a girl sitting facing each other on a wet cobbled street. Both record and book turn up on ebay.uk regularly, Cheers John
