Larry, I know it's absolutely impossible for a Roma to do anything wrong. But you are an officer of the court, are you not? A trained lawyer? Hypothetically, do you not have any problem with a 12 year old girl being given in marriage to a 15 year old, and having the marriage consumated? (Assume it's a hypothetical situation, and that these are the actual facts.) What if it's a 12 year old Baptist schoolgirl in North Carolina? Not a problem? Please don't strawman this, I really am curious about your opinion of this particular case. More info Statutory Rape It looks like legal age for marriage in Romania is 18.
