I was sorry that there was not a larger audience at the concert, and would have been surprised had I not seen a similar turnout at his concert in New York last year. He is an amazing performer, drawing the audience in not only with his music but with his anecdotes and good humor. If anyone has a chance to see him during this tour, do so, even if you have to drive an hour or two.
The passive resistance quote was from an essay by George Orwell and was tied in to his performance of Prince Heathen (Carthy's, that is--I don't know whether Orwell ever performed Prince Heathen).
My only regret was that he played without an interval and I did not get a chance to speak to him as I had last year.

A partial play list would include Hard Times of Old England, Clyde's Water (The Drowned Lovers), Prince Heathen, Skewball, Jackie Tar, Georgie, Hamlet (?), and the Morris tunes Cuckoo's Nest and Princess Royal. I forgot my pen and paper also. so there are many others I have forgotten. Really a great show.
