getting any free reed instrument repaired is really dicey and potentially horrendously expensive. In my humble opinion very few old piano accordions or melodeons are worth the money and effort required to get them going again. Technlogy has come on a long way and modern boxes are just fabulous in comparison. In the accordion boom of the 1920's and 30's these things were massed produced very cheaply in their millions are many were worn out within a few years. take great care, they were not normally top class instruments. stevethesqueeze
