Skarpi - And driving home from work tonight (about an hour ago - 7 pm US Eastern zone), for the first time ever, I saw the Northern Lights not only in the North - they were actually as bright to the south of us - from open places you could see them all across the eastern half of the sky. The southeast was more red, the northeast more white - both with flashes of blue. Truly amazing! Judy
