Don`t know about the comparison to Lucille,but it`s also been remarked that it's a bit like Dr.Hooks - "Sylvias Mother" or whatever the song title is. My song preceded that one. It's one of the big problems of songwriting. It's important to bounce new tunes of your mates - to ask them have they anything similar before - and almost impossible to have a tune which is absolutely unique and differs in every detail from every other song that was ever written. Still !!!! - we try. Cheers all .
