This is an Old Time fiddle tune with many variations. The A and B parts are basically the same meody but played in different keys (usually A and D) Often there is an extra tag of two bars added to one or both parts. The fiddler also has the option of singing from time to time. Fire on the mountain, come here son! Fire on the mountain, run, boy, run! Two little Indians, one old Squaw, Sitting on the banks of the Arkansas etc. It goes at breakneck speed. Thanks for reminding me of this great tune - used to play it but forgot about it - now I'm going to relearn it.
