GUEST,Joe Moran Songwriting on a set theme. (6) RE: Songwriting on a set theme. 16 Nov 03

I was cheating somewhat before because I already knew of one song on the aforementioned theme. It is called " Letting Go" , a lovely song sung by Suzie Bogus. Interestingly, when I first heard the song, I was only half-listening and I thought the song was about the brakedown of a relationship between a man and a woman. Carrying on with the idea of songs written around the same theme, I recently heard a song - which I have heard before - called " Molly Kershaw". The storyline being is a more gritty version of the pop hit ( number one in the UK in 1969)" Where do you go to my lovely". AS a matter of interest, is that song well known in the States?
