Thespian, the discovery on Ship Island is not the first time this writing has come to light; In 1842, a stone tablet was discovered in Bloomer, Arkansas which contained the same message. It is now on display in the Bloomer Museum & Quick Lube. The discovery caused quite a stir. A church was eventually formed called the Bloomer Stone of Moab Gospel Congregation. The members considered themselves the "Chosen" and all others were the "Philistine dogs". They also believed in chastity and purity to the point of having no sexual relations at all. Needless to mention, they died off. They are still discussed in Bloomer, often referred to as the "Moabites and their ilk".
