I definitely agree with Oh Brother, Where Art Thou.

There are so many other movies that have brilliant music - but talking about recent movies... I love the music from Lord of the Rings. And Chicago. And I love the music in all those animated movies :-) - Anastasia, Shrek, almost all the Disney movies!!

Hmm... Love Story... Braveheart... Breakfast at Tiffany's (Moon River :-)... Dr. Zhivago (Lara's theme). There are ever so many others... but my head feels too blocked to think of them - darn cold.

As for musicals - definitely Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Singin' in the Rain, Evita, West side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Moulin Rouge... okay, there are too many.
