GUEST,ozmacca | Poem Req: Who Pays The Piper (Richard Stilgoe) (5) | Lyr Req: Who Pays The Piper | 09 Dec 03 |
Can anybody help me with the words for this terrific poem by Richard Stilgoe. Having heard it on a fairly poor recording a number of times I'd dearly love to have the full text, but can't trace it. For those who don't know it, it's about 45 minutes long and is an entire (just about) history of music from Pan to the present (and future) and the recording I have has background music by just about everybody... Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Chopin... the lot. |
