tar_heel Help: Starting an Internet Radio Station (14) RE: Help: Starting an Internet Radio Station 14 Dec 03

you can get in touch with RANDY RENEGAR at ggr@globalgospelradio.com
he has helped put together an internet radio station that has been on the air for a year this coming january 2004...
the station operates out of King,North Carolina and is an all Gospel, all internet radio station...
they have live preaching and religious services, recorded services(local and national)and live music as well as recorded music...(mostly southern gospel music by nationally known quartets and they also feature blue grass and ole-timey gospel music...( i produce and air those two shows weekly)
you can see(they have a webcam set up) and hear the website at www.globalgospelradio.com
also look at thier daily schedule, the staff, and scrapbook, gospel music news, etc.,there too...
it's mostly an all volunteer station as far as staff is concerned and there are fees for ASCAP,BMI and other music societies...
so,it's not an easy thing to set up...
even though there is no fcc control, those music societies can cripple your operation if you try to dodge them...FYI
