Hmmm...were I male, shouldn't this be "Santus"? After all, the "-a" ending usually denotes the feminine: puella, puta, mesa, and so on. And, in Latin, the "-us" ending denotes the masculine: gladius, Romulus, and like that. So what about the "-um" ending, like in "tectum" or "vomitorium"? Oh wait, that's neuter. And speaking of linguistics, the first of Burke's presents should be going out today or at least very, very soon. (Hints: it's not ticking and probably won't explode if dropped. Probably.)
