The thing with Ensure is it also provides a lot of essential vitamins and nutrients, without a lot of undesirable fats. But it IS expensive; like baby formula. Peg had a good suggestion with the milkshake above, I believe. I was very thin as a teenager and my doctor sent me to a dietitian who made the suggestion (among others) that I have a milkshake each night before bed.

I didn't really put on much weight till my 20s and the beer drinking and labour jobs commenced. ;
