I like your spirit of inclusiveness...vegetarians & vegans. Before the term vegan was introduced to indicate a diet comprised of vegetables, fruits, grains and nuts, all who did not eat meat and sometimes not dairy were all vegetarians. Now we have this distinction. It is very gratifying to have this thread which is inclusive. Also, I want to thank you for allowing me to be a guest on your thread. I am also a vegan(from the planet vega {<; ). In addition, my husband and I are sometimes 100% and at present 95% raw/living foodists....vegan of course in this category. The 5% includes those foods which have been processed by heating above 108 to 115 degrees F. The journey through vegetarianism has been an interesting one with many discoveries, increasing good health & many new friends. Thank you all for sharing your thoughts & recipes! We can all share and get along. That's what veggie vegetarian vegan raw & living foodists do!
