Just wanted to say thank you. I ended up getting a Coda Aspire and, now that I've got enough rosin built up on it to bite the strings, it seems to be working well. If this doesn't inspire my parents to throw me out of the house, nothing will ;). Just kidding. I've had it for three days and can half-assed play about five songs, which I think is not bad considering I only took lessons for one year to start with and haven't been near a violin in 22 years.
