Les, Strangely enough the acoustic bass I got has a great voice and exceptional volume but here is the clincher....it's a Hohner! Who knows? I found it used in a music shop one day and picked it up for a play and it was the best acoustic bass I had ever tried except for one of those Guild deep body models from the 80's. Has a odd looking triangular sound hole, but is a great box. Kudzuman
