Hi Leadfingers Welcome to Newark - six butchers shops within walking distance of the market place and not a single greengrocer. Farmers' market is fourth Thursday in the month. The smell from the sugar factory will go away about the end of February, but I quite like it anyway. Sorry we don't have a folk club anymore. Jennifer
