From memory: Take it down from the mast Irish traitors. It's the flag we Republicans claim. It can never belong to Free State-ers, for you brought on it nothing but shame. So leave it to those who are willing to uphold it in war and in peace. The men who intend to defend it until England's tyrannies cease. I think there is a verse between these two, but I can't remember it. Anyone else know it? Also, another version I've heard changes the last line to "the men who intend to keep killing." I don't know which is right (just which I prefer).
