GUEST,Cliff McGann Scots Gaelic Classes in Boston (8) Scots Gaelic Class in Boston 09 Jan 04

Howdy Folks, I Just wanted to let those in the Boston area who might be interested know that a Six Week Crash Course in the Scottish Gaelic Language is being taught through Middlesex Community College in Bedford begining March 2nd 2004.
I'm the instructor and the class relies heavily on folksong as teaching aid. Anyone interested in learning Scot's Gaelic songs will find the class beneficial. I did my BA in Celtic Studies in Nova Scotia and it was there that I first began learning the language. I also have an MA in Folklore from Memorial University of Newfoundland. My goal wit is to get a more active Scottish Gaelic Society going in the Boston area as its long overdue.

For more info on this class as well as my Irish/Scottish Folklore Class through Middlesex Community College:

or by phone @ 1-800-818-3434

Móran taing, Cliff McGann
