I have to point out that the title of this thread should have read "Who's the best looking folksinger?" What do you want to bet that the person who launched it will someday launch another one saying something like "Folksinger who's guitar playing is the best?"

Might as well go for wrong every time instead of just at random, I say. Be consistent.

Pick, pick, pick! That's what I love to do. :-)

The best looking folksinger in 1965 was... Male: Bob Dylan Female: Mimi Farina(Baez) or Buffy Sainte-Marie

As for now...well, it's always changing. There'll be a new "best" one next week, probably. Emmy Lou, of course, is right up there...and there are some types of country music which ARE folk music.
