Thanks again, one and all, for your happy birthday wishes! It's important to stay cheerful when you're turning--uh--21... so thank you for keeping me cheerful. As part of the celebration I will be going to hear a concert by one of my favorite (not folk) singers, Frederica Von Stade, so I'd say music is the defining acharacter of this particular birthday.
