I've seen Ron when he's assembled a band around him and it works then ie entertaining for an audience - but for the audience I need to book artists for, I'd never consider him solo. Horses for courses ...

There are other clubs locally who think he's fab (different audiences) .. but then again, (sorry to his agent n all that) but that's another reason not to book him - there's only so much artist-saturation vs audience takeup within a limited geographic area.

Ron occupies a particular niche and that's fine! I think his determination to succeed is laudable and many musicians could learn a lot from his rigourous pursuit of work.
