Wow! I knew Paxton had written "My Dog's Bigger..." but had no idea that Tom Glazer was behind the Castro Convertible jingle that I do remember vividly (with Bernadette Castro as a small child pulling out the bed on the TV commercial, many years before her gig as New York State Parks Commissioner). Also didn't know that the late great Bob Gibson wrote or sang jingles. That Vermont Maid one may have been a little before my time.

    The Kingston Trio did a series of 7-UP commercials way back when Dave Guard was still in the group. I don't remember hearing them on the air either, but they're included on the "Capitol Years" boxed set of KT material.
