I knew the menopausal reference would be a mistake, but it really does sound like it and I wondered if there might be some clue as to why such a problem would suddenly occur. Presumably after some years of happy imbibing. Reasons for allergies appearing - increase in exposure, change in ingredients, change in physiology of patient? My mother in law became allergic to alcohol when she was pregnant and has never been able to drink it since. If it's red and not white perhaps it's because the skins are left in longer with red wine making, so there could be more pesticides after all - still think you should try organic. Jennifer
