Wow Jerimiah, thanks for the suggestion. I had thought about something along the line of a different instrument bag. I have a Martin B1E-L. The bag I got for it is just a wee bit short so I use it for my 12 stringer. Ely, have you tried tuning your dulcimer to DAA? I find that this accomodates a wider voiec range. If sound is a problem, you might want to think of electrifying it. Send me a PM and I'll get you some addresses of companies that sell dulcimer pick-ups. This is a gret thread! Now I can add pieces to every ones' little puzzel as to what they play! And I can be helpful too!
